Energy Aspects of Flavonoid Extraction from Rowanberry Fruits Using Pulsed Ultrasound-Assisted Extraction

The aim of the study was to analyze influence dimensions extraction cells on energy aspects and efficiency flavonoids from rowanberry fruits (S. aucuparia L.). total flavonoid content determined using spectrophotometric method. Response surface methodology (RSM) used optimize variables under investigation. in obtained extracts ranged 0.17 0.66 mg QE/g dry matter for with a diameter 3.5 cm, 0.19 0.7 2.5 depending other experimental conditions. consumption during cm cell 0.451 kJ 26.120 kJ, while cell, it 0.637 25.677 kJ. unit 1.47 kJ/mg 48.92 QE/g. For these values 2.17 40.64 Significant effects yield were observed, there no impact electricity consumption. also found form empirical models.
